BACKGROUND
Carl Byrnes is a Senior Equity Research Analyst covering the biopharmaceutical, life sciences, and en-abling technologies segment of the life sciences sectors. His areas of expertise include: addictive dis-orders and overdose rescue therapeutics; anti-infectives; cardiovascular and ischemic disease; central nervous system disorders including epilepsy; degenerative neurologic disorders including Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s disease; endocrinology; oncology; osteoarthritis; pain management; and pulmonary disorders including cystic fibrosis.
Carl has over 25 years of experience in biotechnology research and pharmaceuticals. His previous ex-perience includes senior equity research roles at RBC Capital Markets, Lehman Brothers, and Bank of America Securities. He also served as a senior manager with Pfizer, Inc. and as President and CEO of SCS Refrigerated Services. Carl was also a Treasurer and Trustee of the Pacific Northwest Research Institute (PNRI).
EDUCATION
Carl is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis and completed his MBA at Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management.
