BACKGROUND
Sara is a Continuing Disclosure Specialist for Northland Securities, joining the firm in 2024. She works with cities, counties, public utilities, and economic development authorities in Minnesota and Iowa. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring that issuers comply with regulations by accurately and timely filing all necessary financial and operational information with the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board through the Electronic Municipal Market Access system.
Throughout the disclosure process, it is her priority to verify the accuracy of financial information and format the financial data into compliant disclosure filings for submission. Additionally, she provides ongoing monitoring for issuers, tracking for significant events that could trigger additional disclosure filings.
