BACKGROUND

Austen Cashman joined Northland Capital Markets in 2020 and has extensive investment banking and capital markets experience. He partners closely with management teams and boards to support strategic objectives and deliver financing solutions. Austen has advised on and executed more than 100 equity, equity-linked, and debt transactions for emerging growth companies across the technology, digital infrastructure, healthcare, consumer, and industrial sectors. He has successfully advised both public and private clients on a wide range of M&A trans-actions, including sell-side and buy-side advisory, divestitures, strategic alternatives, and fairness opinions.

Prior to joining Northland Capital Markets, Austen worked at Sit Investment Associates, a privately held, multi-billion-dollar asset management firm based in Minneapolis, and earlier in his career worked at Deloitte.

EDUCATION

Austen holds a B.S.B in Finance and a minor in Accounting from the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management.

Austen holds and maintains the FINRA SIE Securities Essentials, Series 7 General Securities Representative, Series 79 Investment Banking Registered Representative, and Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent State Law registrations.
