BACKGROUND
Mr. Johnson joined Northland in 2024 as Managing Director in Equity Capital Markets. He has over 25 years of experience raising public and private capital for public companies across multiple sectors. He has been a Managing Director in investment banking and capital markets at D.A. Davidson, Barrington Research, William Blair, and Wachovia (A.G. Edwards). He has led execution and raised capital in public offerings, PIPEs, ATMs, SPACs, rights offerings, confidential follow-ons and convertible offerings for small and mid-cap public companies.
EDUCATION
Mr. Johnson earned a B.A. degree in Economics and Philosophy from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and his M.B.A. in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business where he received the Stern Scholarship for academic excellence.

Mr. Johnson maintains the FINRA SIE Securities Industry Essentials, Series 7 General Securities Representative, Series 24 General Securities Principal, Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent State Law, and Series 79 Investment Banking Registered Representative registrations.
