BACKGROUND
Mr. Kurland joined Northland Capital Markets in 2025 as a Director in Investment Banking covering the consumer, physical security and other sectors. He joined Northland after nearly a decade at Wells Fargo, where he joined as an Associate and was most recently a Director on the Mid-Cap investment banking team based in New York. He has substantial experience working with small-cap and mid-cap public companies as well as privately owned companies on a range of strategic transactions across buy-side and sell-side M&A, equity capital markets and debt capital markets. Over the course of his career, he has executed more than 20 transactions totaling more than $5 billion in cumulative transaction value. Prior to working in investment banking he was a consultant at Mercer.
EDUCATION
Mr. Kurland received a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Touro University and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

Mr. Kurland maintains the FINRA SIE Securities Industry Essentials, Series 7 General Securities Representative, Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent, and Series 79 Investment Banking Representative registrations.
