BACKGROUND

Mr. Wray joined Northland Capital Markets in 2025 with the acquisition of Country Club Financial Services, Inc., d/b/a The Capital Corporation. As Managing Director in Investment Banking he has more than 25 years of experience assisting clients in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and strategic planning. Prior to joining Northland Capital Markets, Mr. Wray founded and served as President and CEO of The Capital Corporation, LLC. which was acquired by Country Club Financial Services, Inc. in 2016.

Previously he practiced law with one of the largest regional law firms in the mid-west United States. With a concentration on mergers, acquisitions, de novo bank formations and private securities, he was lead counsel on numerous transactions requiring sophisticated technical knowledge.

Bob’s expertise with financial institutions includes acting as counsel for several de novo charter applications, assistance in the relocation of a state charter from one state to another, the formation of bank holding companies and bank holding company subsidiaries, the restructuring of bank holding companies and assistance in the sale of financial institutions. Additionally, Bob has served on several community bank and holding company boards of directors, as well as served as outside counsel for numerous financial institutions.

EDUCATION

Bob has a BS in Economics from Missouri State University and a Law Degree from University of Missouri, Kansas City.

Bob holds and maintains the FINRA SIE Securities Essentials, Series 7 General Securities Representative, Series 24 General Securities Principal, Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent, Series 79 Investment Banking Registered Representative.
