BACKGROUND

Elliot Klim joined Northland Securities in 2022 as a Fixed Income Associate at the branch in Madison (Verona), Wisconsin. He began his career at Bankers’ Bank as an Investment Banking Officer in Fixed Income Sales & Trading.

During his time as a Finance Major at UWW, he was part of the Applied Investment Program, a Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF) where they pitched stock ideas and participated in general portfolio management to simulate a BUY-Side equity firm with the Foundations Endowment Fund. They competed regionally in the CFA Investment Research Challenge with other members of the program to display what they learned as student equity analysts.

EDUCATION/COMMUNITY

Elliot is originally from Bettendorf (Quad Cities), Iowa, and is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance.

At the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater, he played collegiate football as an offensive lineman and competed in the 2019 National Championship. He led both the Football and the All-Sport Fellowship of Christian Athletes chapters and was the Treasurer for the Student Athletic Advisory Committee.

He holds and maintains the FINRA Series 52 Municipal Securities Representative, Series 7 General Securities Representative, and Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent registrations.
