BACKGROUND
John Wiedman is a trusted resource for bankers. For over 30 years, John has been a Fixed Income investment consultant, making him an important ally to banks looking for high-quality fixed income investments. His knowledge of the region and the credit markets has helped him build strong relationships throughout the industry. Banks have come to depend on John as a source for both fixed income paper and advice. He is totally in tune with the fiduciary responsibilities that drive bank business and can help to build portfolios that are both suitable and performance-driven. As a Senior Managing Director and founding shareholder of Northland Securities, he is available to help banks and businesses achieve their investment goals.
EDUCATION/COMMUNITY
John Wiedman is a graduate of St. Cloud State University and has been in the securities business since 1983.
Away from work, John and his wife, Faerol, have three sons - John, David and Matthew. John has coached over twenty football, hockey, and baseball youth teams in Eden Prairie, MN, where his family resides. John is a former member of the Eden Prairie Hockey Board, serves at Grace Church in a recovery ministry, and is a 26-year volunteer at The Retreat in Wayzata.
